Young-Inglewood Vineyard, Napa Valley
This St. Helena Vineyard is on a rocky/gravelly bench, about one mile south of Dr. Crane Vineyard. Cabernet is planted to clone 337 and with the lack of rainfall this year, the berries are very small and concentrated. This was a late season find for us from a vineyard manager who manages some other great sites from which we source fruit. Being in a warmer part of Napa, we'll seen intense, fruit-driven wines that will pair up nicely with darker toast barrels. This is also one of our key sources of Cabernet Franc.
